A couple weeks ago we had Maya over for her very first sleepover. Isaiah had been in Esparto for the day so he brought her home to us, and then Sarah joined us the next day to take her back. We were basically the best aunt and uncle ever for a day. Notable events included (but were not limited to):
Walk to the park/playing on playground
Backyard tree swing
Spaghetti and meatballs (her choice)
Walmart
Chick-Fil-A frozen lemonade and play place
Secret room
Duck pond
Dying Easter eggs
Roasting s'mores

He is back to his pre-surgery walking (YAY!!) and has even done a bit of standing up from the ground without holding on to anything. His favorite places to walk are the duck pond ("Chase ducks!") and Target, where there are a lot of distractions and also lots of places to hold on if needed. The cheesy smiles have not lost any cheese.
